Despite having to deal with a lot of controversies plus a “not-so-good” year career-wise, actress Jessy Mendiola is still grateful for all the love she receives from people who are especially dear to her heart.
“I am thankful for love,” said the 25-year-old actress, as disclosed in a story written by Nerisa Almo for PEP.
Jessy revealed it was the love not only from boyfriend Luis Manzano (who always defends her from every controversy thrown at her) but also from family who keeps pushing her forward despite everything that has happened to her.
“When you feel love, it’s not so hard to give back love, and I’m really thankful for that,” she added.
Jessy admitted that this year wasn’t the best for her as she slowed down a little bit as far as her showbiz career is concerned. She recently stopped appearing on the ABS-CBN gag show “Banana Sundae”.
But despite having a bit of what she calls a “back-track” on her career, the actress believes these are just challenges she needs to overcome and she hopes to get back up again in no time; after all, the actress says she can still do much.
“But I know I can whip it up again, I’m taking my time.”
“I know that I can do so much, I can still do so much.”
In the end, Jessy expressed her gratitude to all the people who never gets tired of supporting and loving her; saying, “That itself is a blessing for me.”
