A Japanese businessman was arrested upon arrival at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 on Thursday, February 16, for kicking a 12-year-old boy. The captain of the Philippine Airlines (PAL) Express flight PR 2522 requested for police assistance through PAL Operations Center because the 40-year-old Japanese businessman Shinomiya Kosuke has become unruly during a flight from Cagayan De Oro.
ABS-CBN said the Philippine National Police-Aviation Security Group immediately dispatched a team at the airport to arrest the unruly businessman. It was gathered that passenger Joel Tan Chan asked for assistance after Kosuke kicked his 12-year-old nephew, who was traveling with him. The Japanese national reportedly kicked the boy’s left hand after he reclined his seat during the flight. The Philippine National Police-Aviation Security Group is readying a complaint for violation of the Anti-Violence Against Women and Children against the Japanese businessman.
