The first Sonic Dash was a somewhat generic endless-runner type game that featured Sonic and all of his friends. One of the big changes made to Sonic Dash 2: Sonic Boom is players will be able to switch between three characters on the fly. Each character will also have a special ability to use in certain situations. Amy can use her hammer, Knuckles can use his "Jump Up & Slam" move and Sonic runs faster than any other character, because of course he does. There will also be a new character named Sticks. Sticks uses a boomerang, presumably to collect rings that are out of reach.
Another change this time around is motion controls. Characters may find themselves swinging from ropes to collect gold rings. It will be up to you as the player to tilt your phone in the right direction to make sure your character collects as many rings as possible. The best part is that depending on where you live, Sonic Dash 2: Sonic Boom may already be available for you to download. Currently, Sonic Dash 2: Sonic Boom is only available on Android devices, but will be launching on iOS when the full launch goes live. So what do you think?
