She is currently midway through her North American dates, whicn began on February 25 in Independence, Missouri and will end on April 16 in Vancouver, Canada. Ariana first came to prominence in the Broadway musical, “13”, which led to her popular role as Cat Valentine in the hit Nickelodeon show, “Victorious”, and its spin-off, “Sam & Cat”. In 2013, she released her debut album, “Yours Truly” which debuted at number 1 in the Billboard Hot 200 album charts and featured the US Top 10 hit single, “The Way”. With her vocal range being widely compared by fans and critics to that of Mariah Carey, Ariana’s follow-up album, “My Everything” also went to number 1 and was an even bigger success with the hits, “Problem” and “Break Free”.
It also resulted in several accolades for her that included the 2013 American Music Award for Best Newcomer of the Year, the 2014 MTV Europe Award for Best Female and Best Song for “Problem” featuring Iggy Azalea and an MTV Video Music Award for Best Video for the same song. Along with actress Jennifer Lawrence, Selena Gomez, “Victorious” co-star Victoria Justice and many others, Ariana was among the subjects of nude photos that were leaked online from their respective smartphones late last year.
Ariana denied that she was the one in the alleged leaked photos of her adding in a tweet that “my little ass is a lot cuter than that LMAO.”
